Systems Engineer (1st/2nd Line Support MCTS, MCITP)
We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line support to our clients. Ideally this is an opportunity for a MCP, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP certified IT support professional to develop their career in a challenging and exciting environment.

Skills and Experience:
- Technical incident management.
- First-line and second line IT support and remote access.
- Remote monitoring of business-critical products and service levels utilising monitoring applications.
- PC and server configuration.
- Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proactive server monitoring and reporting.
- System checks.
- Back up monitoring and reporting.
- Network system transitions and migrations
You must have:
- MCP\MCSA\MCSE\MCTS\MCITP at least one of these certifications, ideally MCTS 70-642
- 24 months direct applied work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010, Active Directory, Group Policies, RRAS, DNS, Terminal Services, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, WAN
- Excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows XP, Vista & 7).
- Good Microsoft Office applications knowledge.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience of diagnosing hardware and software issues and have a good understanding of Microsoft software.
- Knowledge of other vendors beneficial including Watchguard, Symantec , Sunbelt
- Experience with using and configuring mobile devices.
- Good written and verbal communications.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Confident and have a professional telephone manner engaging with our clients, 3rd Party suppliers, other engineers as well as management.

Ideally you have:
- Helpdesk management experience.
- Apple desktop and server experience.
- VOIP and telephony experience.
