A Cunning Plan For Successful Group Working

Are you running a team, or involved with planning for single or multiple teams and projects? If the answer to that is yes, or if you are juggling multiple activities and need an easy to use tool to provide an overview of the status of all of those tasks, then Microsoft Office 365 Planner is an application that you should take a look at.
Planner is part of the Office 365 package, so is free to 365 users. The application makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organise and assign tasks, share files, chat and get updates on progress, wherever you connect to your system. It is easy to use – you launch Planner from the Office 365 app launcher with a single click. You can then create a new plan, build a team, and create a structure that works for you in a few easy steps.

Make Planning Easier

Make Planning Easier

It is a highly visual tool that opens each plan on its own board, where you can organise tasks into buckets (grouped tasks). You can categorise tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to, allowing very easy tracking of projects. To update the status or change assignments, simply drag and drop tasks between columns.
In My Tasks you can view a comprehensive list of all your tasks and their status across all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what.
This is a new application built for Office 365, and offers interconnectivity with any office document, allowing you to attached files and have conversations with team members without switching between apps. This ensures all your deliverables stay with the plan, while you regain control of your activity list. For more information on Planner log on to your Office 365 account and on the front page look for the green icon with 3 people, and click and play.
